Lake Cleanup Work Expands

East Isles collaborated with Upstream MN to get a Hennepin Co. Good Steward grant, which helps our Green Team expand its cleanup work beyond our neighborhood. Called the Green Guardians, we're working with 8 neighborhoods around Lake of the Isles and Bde Maka Ska to remove trash from the lakes and raise awareness of the Adopt-A-Drain program!

Bde Maka Ska Cleanup
Saturday, July 27 ยท 8:30โ€“11:30 AM
Check-in on Bde Maka Ska footpath (off W 31st St & E Bde Maka Ska Pkwy)

Check-in for treats and cleanup gear like gloves, buckets, bags, and trash pickers. You may want to wear tall boots, pants and long sleeves to reach trash at the edge of the Lake through trees and brush. Please be cautious as we sometimes find sharp objects.
