Support East Isles

City funding for neighborhood associations decreased in 2023. This means we are now more reliant on contributions from residents and businesses. East Isles Neighborhood Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. With tax-deductible support from neighbors like you, we have accomplished a great deal this past year, making our neighborhood a better place to live:

  • 39 Cleanups across the local community, where 481 volunteers picked up 4,000+ gallons of debris

  • Safety Walking Club to connect neighbors monthly, putting eyes on the street while picking up trash

  • Special annual events like the Winter Party, Earth Day Cleanup, Annual Meeting, and Summer Social

  • Neighborhood Super Sale hosted 112 sales, donating leftover wares to Disabled American Veterans of MN

  • Increased storm drain adoptions, with more than 75% of East Isles’ drains now cleaned regularly

  • Helped install trash boom capture system to help prevent street debris from flowing into our waters

  • Uptown Farmers Market planning, including five pop-up markets to generate buzz for a future, full-season market

  • Public meetings and forums to engage with your elected officials, local leaders, and precinct

  • Informative content through monthly newsletters, social media, and guest speakers

  • Home security rebates that help make your home, block, and neighborhood safer
